The role marks Stevens as a series regular in the Showtime revival series. Brian Cox joins the cast as 'The New York Ripper,' another serial killer character. Uma Thurman reprises her season 1 role of Charley. Stevens rose to prominence playing Matthew Crawley in the first three seasons of the PBS drama Downton Abbey. His television credits also include starring as David Haller in the FX series Legion, which ended after three seasons in 2019, as well as appearances in Zero Day and Gaslit. He is upcoming in MGM+'s Legacy of Spies alongside Matthew Macfadyen and Charlie Hunnam.
