Following the first-round win in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis), LFI could secure its second city of over 100,000 inhabitants next Sunday, barring a major upset. Guiraud, portrayed as one of « Mélenchon's guardians of the revolution », aims to turn Roubaix into a showcase for the « Nouvelle France », described alternately as « créolisée » then « racisée ».
