Disney delists 15 more games from Steam without warning

Disney removed 15 PC games from Steam on April 14, including Star Wars: Rebellion and Star Wars: Dark Forces. The move marks the second such action this year, following a delisting of 14 titles in January. Disney has offered no explanation for the removals.

Deal spotter Wario64 highlighted the changes on April 14, with SteamDB confirming that 15 Disney-published titles were retired from the storefront. The delisted games include Disney – Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier, Star Wars: Rebellion, Star Wars: Dark Forces (original version), Outlaws & A Handful of Missions (original version), Alice in Wonderland, Disney’s Chicken Little, Tangled, G-Force, Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon, Disney Universe, Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure, Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance, and Disney & Pixar – Brave: The Video Game. Owners of these games can still download and play them, but new purchases are no longer possible on Steam. This follows a similar incident in January, when PC Gamer reported Disney's removal of 14 games without notice. Those titles were Armed and Dangerous, The Princess and the Frog, Cars Radiator Springs Adventures, Disney Fairies: Tinkerbell’s Adventure, Toy Story Mania, Winnie the Pooh, Lucidity, Disney – Planes, Chicken Little Ace in Action, Finding Nemo, Phineas and Ferb: New Inventions, Disney’s Hercules, Stunt Island, and Afterlife. In total, Disney has now delisted 29 games from Steam this year. The company has not commented on the reasons behind these actions.
