First Kalle Anka issue sold for record 150,600 kronor

A copy of the first issue of 'Kalle Anka & C:o' from 1948 has sold on the auction site Tradera for 150,600 kronor. It is the most expensive Kalle Anka magazine sold on the platform to date and the highest-grossing magazine auction in ten years.

A copy of the first issue of 'Kalle Anka & C:o', published in 1948, has been sold on Tradera for 150,600 kronor. The seller described it as having an 'oläst känsla på omslaget med fina färger och fint blänk, bara enstaka tumveck, perfekt baksida' and condition 'FN', meaning a fine collector's item without ugly damage.

According to Tradera, this is the most expensive Kalle Anka magazine sold on the site to date. It surpasses the previous record of 85,600 kronor from 2020, when the first issue also sold.

The magazine tops the list of the most expensive magazine auctions on Tradera over the past ten years. Other high sales include a 'Kronblom' issue from 1930 for 62,000 kronor and 'Musse Pigg-tidningen' for 60,505 kronor.
