The College of Educators of the State of Guerrero paid tribute today to Esthela Damián Peralta at the National Technological Institute of Mexico, Acapulco campus.
The union president, Margarita Nava Muñoz, presented the award to the former legal counsel of the Federal Executive before hundreds of early childhood professionals.
Damián Peralta highlighted her experience coordinating nearly 500 initial and basic education points in Mexico City under the supervision of Claudia Sheinbaum, then head of government. She implemented a model of free access and dignification of spaces in vulnerable areas such as Tepito.
In her speech, she emphasized the value of quality time with children for working women. She reaffirmed her commitment to initial education in Guerrero, noting the need to replicate successful models to secure the state's future.
