Singer Ivete Sangalo announced on Friday, June 19, that she will auction the stylized Brazilian national team jersey she wore in a recent show. All proceeds will go to the Instituto Ivete Sangalo.
In an Instagram post, Ivete explained that the piece, which gained attention on social media, will be autographed and auctioned. “Today it’s Brazil! But before the opening whistle, I want to call you for a special mission,” she wrote.
The funds will support the institute’s social projects that benefit children, young people and families. Bids opened at 6 p.m. on Friday and run until June 30 at 5 p.m. At the time of reporting, the highest bid stood at R$ 5,900.
“Our support has always been huge. Now it can go further! Make your bid, take part and join this wave of good,” the singer from Bahia added.
