Jay-Z headlined the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30 with a surprise freestyle that included apparent shots at Drake, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. The performance marked his first solo headlining show in more than five years.

Jay-Z opened the 90-minute set with “Hovi Baby” before launching into a four-minute a cappella freestyle.
