Swedish goaltender Jesper Eliasson has signed with Cergy-Pontoise in the French top league after one season in Poland. The 26-year-old leaves GKS Katowice for the club that retained its Ligue Magnus status last year.
Eliasson, who played for GKS Katowice during the 2025-26 season, will join a team coached by Phil Horsky. The club already features Swedish players Hannes Lindström and Lukas Macklin.
The move marks another step abroad for the former Swedish junior international. Eliasson was part of Sweden's 2020 World Junior Championship squad and has previously played for clubs including Växjö, Almtuna, Troja-Ljungby, Red Bull Salzburg and Stavanger.
Cergy-Pontoise confirmed the signing this week, according to reports from HockeyNews.
