Chilean golfer Joaquín Niemann ended the BMW International Open in seventh place after a final round of 70 strokes.
Niemann completed the four rounds with scores of 68, 70, 70 and 70 for a total of 278 strokes and 10 under par. The Chilean recorded five birdies, five bogeys and an eagle on the 18th hole during the final round.
South African Michael Hollick claimed the title at 18 under par, followed by compatriot Hennie du Plessis in second at 17 under par. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger took third place at 14 under par.
After the tournament, Niemann commented on LIV Golf: “I have not spoken with Scott since we played the last tournament”. He added that he sees LIV as a superior product and hopes the necessary funds will be secured.
