Kali Uchis releases leaked Orquídeas demo Muévelo

Kali Uchis has officially released the full version of 'Muévelo,' a demo from her 2024 album Orquídeas that leaked online months ago. The Colombian American singer shared the track on Instagram, calling it her 'final act of self love this year' after fans clamored for its complete release. The move comes amid her ongoing tour for her latest album, Sincerely.

Kali Uchis surprised fans by dropping the official version of 'Muévelo' on December 19, 2025. The song originated as a demo from sessions for her acclaimed 2024 album Orquídeas, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and secured her first No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. A partial leak of the track began circulating online months earlier, prompting widespread fan demand for the full release.

In an Instagram post, Uchis explained her decision: "for my final act of self love this year i will release this song bcoz prior to tonight it was a demo leaked against my will!!!" She added a blessing in Spanish: "k disfruten y k la persona k se detuvo a leer esto Dios lo proteja siempre a ti y tu familia Amén."

This release follows a prolific year for Uchis. Her most recent album, Sincerely, arrived in May 2025, with a deluxe edition Sincerely: P.S. in September. The latter includes the collaborative single "Cry About It!" featuring Ravyn Lenae. Rolling Stone praised Sincerely as a "vulnerable meditation on motherhood, her own childhood, and the challenge of holding opposing truths with equal care," noting, "It’s all there, together: love and hurt, heaven and earth, birth and loss."

Uchis wrapped her first North American headlining arena tour in September 2025, her largest yet, covering 24 cities including stops at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and Madison Square Garden in New York. She plans to extend the tour into 2026, with dates in South America, Latin America, and Mexico starting in February, plus a performance at the Hinterland Music Festival in Des Moines in August.
