Karl Sterner set to leave SSK for Mora

Forward Karl Sterner appears poised to depart Södertälje SK for Mora IK. Reports indicate he is close to finalizing a move despite one year remaining on his contract.

Karl Sterner joined SSK from Frölunda's junior program ahead of the previous season under a two-year deal. He struggled for regular ice time late in the campaign and spent the remainder of the year on loan with Nybro.

Expressen reports that Sterner has reached an agreement in principle with Mora. SSK officials are not expected to block the transfer to ensure the player secures adequate playing opportunities.

Discussions are ongoing to resolve the remaining term of his contract. The move would send the forward to Dalarna for the upcoming season.
