Kelela has released her new single “The Bridge” featuring PinkPantheress. The track serves as the final single before her third album New Avatar arrives this Friday.
The song marks a shift for Kelela away from her signature electronic R&B sound. It draws on her early work in the Washington, D.C. music scene by blending shoegaze, grunge, and indie rock elements.
“The Bridge” follows earlier singles “Idea 1,” “Linknb,” “Point Blank,” and “Outta Time.” Additional collaborations on the album include appearances by A.K. Paul and Fousheé.
Kelela’s last studio album Raven was released in 2023. PinkPantheress issued her album Fancy That and its remix version in 2025.
