Kevin Feige says Adam Driver turns down Marvel offers

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said Adam Driver has repeatedly declined offers to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Feige made the comments on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast. He described the pattern as a long-standing tradition at the studio.

“It’s no secret we’d like to [work with Adam],” Feige said. “But it’s a tradition to Zoom with him and then he passes. That’s a long-lived tradition. He couldn’t be more cordial. He is usually upfront about how he is feeling.”

Driver is known for playing Kylo Ren in three Star Wars films. Feige noted that no casting decisions have been made for the upcoming X-Men reboot.
