Kurt Cobain's Foxes T-shirt auctioned by Patty Schemel

Hole drummer Patty Schemel is auctioning a T-shirt once owned and worn by Kurt Cobain. The item, from a 1993 Nirvana photoshoot, has drawn bids above its estimate.

The blue promo T-shirt for the 1980 film Foxes was gifted by Cobain to Schemel in the summer of 1993. Schemel recalled the moment in a signed letter of authenticity dated May 1, 2026, noting that both were fans of the Jodie Foster movie and often shared interest in 1970s and 1980s teen films.
