Minister André Mendonça of the STF stated in a Second Panel session that a suspect in the Banco Master case attempted to submit a selective delation proposal.
In a session held on Tuesday afternoon (16/6), Mendonça reported that a lawyer approached the rapporteur directly to offer rewarded collaboration. He chose not to reveal the identity of the lawyer or the investigated person.
Mendonça stressed that legal procedure requires proposals to be submitted first to the Federal Police or the Public Ministry. The minister said he did not open the document and rejected the idea of selective delation.
“They lost their shame, Minister Gilmar, saying they wanted to make a selective delation. They said it to my face,” Mendonça declared. He added that he is concerned only with what the investigation determines.
