Michael Jackson's Number Ones has climbed to No. 6 on the Billboard 200, marking his first new top 10 album of the 2020s. The 2003 compilation joins Thriller in the top 10 this week. The rise comes amid strong interest in a recent biopic about the singer.
On the Billboard 200 chart dated May 16, Number Ones moved up seven positions to No. 6. It marks Jackson's 11th top 10 album overall and his first in the current decade. He now stands as only the fifth artist with new top 10 albums in each decade from the 1970s through the 2020s, alongside Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.
