MLB Pipeline has unveiled its preseason Top 100 Prospects list for the 2026 season, featuring players from 29 clubs. The Seattle Mariners top the rankings with seven prospects, followed by several teams with five each. The list highlights emerging talents across organizations, emphasizing depth in farm systems.
MLB Pipeline's annual preseason Top 100 Prospects list for 2026 was released, showcasing the next generation of Major League Baseball talent. Out of 29 represented clubs, the Seattle Mariners lead with seven players, earning 365 Prospect Points. Their group includes holdovers Colt Emerson (No. 9), Lazaro Montes (No. 43), Michael Arroyo (No. 67), and Jonny Farmelo (No. 78), plus newcomers Kade Anderson (No. 21), Ryan Sloan (No. 33), and Jurrangelo Cijntje (No. 91). Harry Ford was traded, and Cole Young graduated from prospect status.
Eight teams boast five or more Top 100 prospects, contributing 43 players total: Mariners (7), Cleveland Guardians (6, 191 points), Pittsburgh Pirates (5, 318), Miami Marlins (5, 298), Los Angeles Dodgers (5, 281), Milwaukee Brewers (5, 261), St. Louis Cardinals (5, 244), and Chicago White Sox (5, 214). For the Dodgers, outfielders dominate with Josue De Paula (No. 15), who hit .250/.391/.400 with 12 home runs and 32 stolen bases in 2025, Zyhir Hope (No. 27), Eduardo Quintero (No. 30), and Mike Sirota (No. 60), alongside shortstop Emil Morales (No. 92).
The Guardians feature Chase DeLauter (No. 46), who debuted in the playoffs, and Travis Bazzana (No. 20). Pirates' Konnor Griffin (No. 1) impressed in his pro debut. Marlins' Thomas White (No. 17) leads as the top left-handed pitching prospect. Cardinals' JJ Wetherholt (No. 5) is set for shortstop. Royals prospects include Carter Jensen (No. 18) and Blake Mitchell (No. 75). Mets have four, led by Nolan McLean.
While the number of Top 100 prospects indicates depth, MLB Pipeline notes that Prospect Points, based on rankings, better measure farm system strength. Last year, the Red Sox topped points with only four Top 100 players despite teams like the Mariners having seven.
