Morning Sunflower secured the 2026 Royal Windsor show hunter pony championship. Ridden by Isobel Radford Jones, the 143cm mare claimed victory in her second Windsor title. The win marked a highlight for the rider in what will be her final season aboard the horse.
Isobel Radford Jones achieved her first Windsor victory aboard Morning Sunflower, also known as Flo. The 10-year-old part-bred Connemara is owned by her mother Fiona. A shocked Isobel said: “There aren’t words to describe it, honestly. I’ve been coming to Windsor for a long time, so it’s so amazing.” She added that the result means a great deal as this marks her last year competing on the mare.
