Netflix has released Heartstopper Forever, the film concluding the popular TV series based on Alice Oseman's graphic novels. The story follows Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring as they navigate university plans and life changes with their friends.
The movie draws from Oseman's sixth graphic novel and her 2015 Nick and Charlie novella. Kit Connor stars as Nick, who prepares to leave for Leeds University, while Joe Locke plays Charlie. Other characters, including Elle portrayed by Yasmin Finney, head to new places such as Berlin for art pursuits.
The soundtrack features tracks from several artists. Songs include Kool Aid by Royel Otis, Raw Thoughts by Baby Queen, and L'Amour de Ma Vie by Billie Eilish. Additional entries come from Tom Odell, Maggie Rogers, Sufjan Stevens, and the band Wasia Project with members William Gao and Olivia Hardy.
The trailer highlighted Olivia Rodrigo's stupid song shortly after its June 13 release. A full list of 21 tracks appears in the film, continuing the music style from prior seasons of the series.
