Netflix revealed on Tuesday that Stranger Things: Tales From '85 has been picked up for season 2, just days after its April 23 debut. The quick turnaround means fans can expect the next installment this fall, a shorter wait compared to the live-action series' typical gaps. THR was first to report the news. The series follows young versions of Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas and Max as the Hawkins Investigators Club battles monsters and paranormal mysteries in 1985. None of the original Stranger Things actors voice their counterparts; instead, Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voices Eleven, Luca Diaz is Mike, Benjamin Plessala plays Will, Braxton Quinney is Dustin, Elisha 'EJ' Williams voices Lucas, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport is Max, and Odessa A'zion portrays new character Nikki. All are set to return. Showrunner Eric Robles shared his enthusiasm in a statement: 'Working on Season 1 has been an incredibly rewarding experience... We're thrilled to return to the winter of '85 for Season 2. The Hawkins Investigators Club is back, and a new paranormal threat has emerged from the town's abandoned silver mines.' He teased the entity's connection to the mysterious blue flower from the Upside Down seen at the end of season 1. This comes after the original Stranger Things concluded its five-season run in December 2025, with Vecna's demise and an ambiguous ending for Eleven.
