Padraig Harrington practiced with a large training aid on the range at Aronimink Golf Club on Wednesday ahead of the 2026 PGA Championship. The aid is designed to provide visual and physical feedback on swing plane and body angles.
Harrington, known for tinkering with his swing, positioned the oversized alignment rod in front of him during his session. Dr. Alison Curdt, a GOLF Top 100 Teacher, described the device as similar to Ben Hogan’s pane-of-glass concept. It helps monitor shoulder tilt, spine angle and overall swing path throughout the motion.
