DeSorbo said, “Ciara is our real friend in real life, so we have been talking to her, consoling her, we are behind her 100%.” Berner recounted how their friendship formed despite production efforts to create conflict, stating, “I was supposed to be beefing with her from the second I met her... And the second I met her, I looked her in the eye and we were like 'I love you.'” DeSorbo described Miller as a “strong, intelligent, capable woman” who will “speak her truth when it is her time.” The pair joked about joining online investigations into the drama, with DeSorbo quipping about wearing glasses for sleuthing and Berner comparing them to Mary Kate and Ashley in trench coats. Batula and Wilson publicly confirmed their relationship on Tuesday, saying, “We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.” Sources said Ciara learned of the hookup through a video of the pair.
