In humorous videos, he depicted his daily life with Tourette syndrome, manifested through tics like swearing and obscene gestures, which he attributed to a fictional 'Gisela.' In late 2022, he underwent deep brain stimulation to manage symptoms and then paused YouTube to build a regular work life. He returned as a content creator in early 2025.
Lehmann highlighted Zimmermann's commitment: 'He managed to touch both acquaintances and complete strangers, inspiring them through his handling of the illness and giving them courage.'
