أدى اختراق لمفتاح خاص إلى سحب أكثر من 520 ألف دولار من محفظة مرتبطة بمنصة Polymarket على بلوكشين Polygon في 22 مايو. وأكدت منصة أسواق التوقعات أن أموال المستخدمين والعقود الأساسية لم تتأثر.

أشار محقق البلوكشين ZachXBT إلى الحادث لأول مرة في الساعة 08:22 بالتوقيت العالمي المنسق، حيث حدد عنوان مسؤول مخترق قام بتحويل الأموال إلى عنوان المهاجم 0x8F98075db5d6C620e8D420A8c516E2F2059d9B91. وأفادت شركة Bubblemaps لاحقًا بأن الخسائر ارتفعت لتصل إلى قرابة 600 ألف دولار، حيث تم سحب رموز POL بمعدل 5000 رمز كل 30 ثانية. وأظهرت بيانات البلوكشين عمليات تحويل متكررة من عناوين مصنفة كعناوين تابعة لـ Polymarket خلال فترة التنبيه.
