Rain disrupted the start of the French Open 2026 qualifiers in Paris. Several matches were delayed or suspended on the first day of play.
The interruptions affected matches including Sinja Kraus against Celine Neaf, Ekaterine Gorgodze against Tamara Zidansek, Elizara Yaneva against Irina-Camilia Begu, Maja Chawalinska against Alice Rame, and Dan Evans against Daniel Jade. In the latter contest, the 17-year-old Jade took the opening set 6-4 before rain halted proceedings in the second set. Evans, at 35, is the oldest player in the men's qualifying draw while Jade is the youngest.
