The Los Angeles Rams have traded for edge rusher Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. The deal sends Jared Verse and multiple future draft picks to Cleveland.
The trade was completed as a post-June 1 move. Garrett joins the Rams after recording 23 sacks during the 2025 season. In exchange, the Browns receive Verse along with a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick. The Rams aim to strengthen their pass rush with the addition. Garrett led the league in quick pressures over recent years. The move allows defensive coordinator Chris Shula to adjust schemes and create more pressure opportunities. The Rams also added cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson from the Chiefs to support an aggressive defensive approach.
