Athletes from Macalester College and St. Olaf College competed at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield, Minnesota, where multiple records fell and strong performances were recorded. Macalester's women's team saw Tessa Myatt and Ariella Rogahn-Press notch facility records, while St. Olaf's Izzi Jaeckle broke her own school record in the 200-meter dash. On the men's side, St. Olaf's Cullen Moore ran the No. 3 national time in the NCAA Division III 800-meter run.
The St. Olaf Invitational took place this weekend in Northfield, Minn., featuring men's and women's track and field teams from Macalester College and host St. Olaf College. The meet, which did not include team scores, highlighted individual achievements across events.
For the Macalester women's team, Tessa Myatt and Ariella Rogahn-Press set new facility records during the competition. This performance adds to Rogahn-Press's recent accolades, including being named MIAC Track Athlete of the Week on Dec. 9, 2025. The team had previously started its season at the M City Classic on Dec. 5, 2025, and earned all-academic honors from the USTFCCCA on July 21, 2025.
St. Olaf's women's squad saw sophomore Izzi Jaeckle break her own school record in the 200-meter dash. She also contributed to a record-breaking relay effort. Other notable participants included Molly DiNardo, Ashlyn Jore, Abbie Manhard, Nora Mickelson, Logan Paulsen, Lauren Walda, Isabel Wyatt, Cora DenHartog, and Svea Frantzich.
In the men's events, Macalester's Scots achieved six top-three finishes. The team had hosted the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Jan. 24, 2026, and saw individual records earlier in the season.
St. Olaf's men secured four event victories, led by senior Cullen Moore's No. 3 national time in the NCAA Division III 800-meter run this season. Teammates such as Max Albertson, Rik Cumps, Jakob Eenigenburg, Christian Fells, Austin McInturff, Lance Nemecek, Kevin Turlington, Tony Ali, and Aidan McKeever also competed.
