The Adopt-a-Primary Healthcare Facility Project has delivered services to almost one million people over three years, according to the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria.
The Adopt-a-Primary Healthcare Facility Project has provided healthcare services to nearly one million Nigerians in the past three years. Primary healthcare centres saw utilisation rise by more than 1,000 percent after revitalisation.
Dr Anne Adah-Ogoh, PSHAN’s Director of Policy, said the centres now offer affordable and quality care. She noted that nearly 300,000 women received skilled birth attendance and antenatal services, while almost 250,000 infants got routine immunisation.
Chizoba Okafor, Country Head of Flutterwave in Nigeria, called for better digital connections between hospitals, pharmacies and insurers. He said strong governance and data protection are needed for seamless care.
