Sollentuna HC has secured its first-ever spot in U20 Nationell after a strong spring campaign. The club will now face established teams including AIK and Djurgården in the upcoming season.
Sportchef Andreas Paulsson highlighted the achievement while acknowledging the challenges ahead.
"For the first time ever Sollentuna HC will play in U20 Nationell," Paulsson said. He credited new coaches Carl Johan Klint and Axel Lindgren for clear leadership and praised the team's continuity and club loyalty.
The squad opens its campaign in early September against Djurgården at Hovet. Paulsson noted that the team will cover its own costs, estimated at 650,000 to 800,000 kronor, with support from parents and sponsors.
Sollentuna aims to retain its place initially and later establish itself at the top level, hoping the higher competition helps retain local junior talent in Stockholm.
