The Sonic Viboras secured back-to-back victories in the Lowveld Padel Men’s Premier Franchise League by defeating the Desert Falcons 16-5 in the final. In the inaugural women's league, the Lunar Lilies edged out the Desert Roses 6-4 to claim the title. Both finals took place at Play 360 in Nelspruit, highlighting the sport's growing popularity in the region.

The second season of the Lowveld Padel Men’s Premier Franchise League concluded with the Sonic Viboras overcoming the Desert Falcons in a decisive final on Monday, February 9, at Play 360. The Viboras, who finished second in the standings with 23 points, delivered a composed performance to win 16-5 and defend their championship from the previous season.

The Desert Falcons had led the league with six wins from seven matches, accumulating 28 points. Other strong contenders included the Rulo Apaches and Samurai Kick Smashes, both on 21 points, while the Ice Breakers completed the top five. Teams like the Avalanche Aces, Globo Boomerangs, and Baltic Blades added to the season's competitive depth.

In parallel, the first-ever Vodacom 4U The Grove Lowveld Padel Ladies Franchise League wrapped up its historic season. The Lunar Lilies, who topped the standings with a flawless record, faced the second-placed Desert Roses in the final on Sunday, February 8, at the same venue. The match featured intense exchanges, with the Lilies prevailing 6-4 in a close contest.

The women's league featured six franchises: Lunar Lilies, Desert Roses, Phoenix Flames, Backhand Blossoms, Arctic Angels, and Net Novas. These events underscore the rapid expansion of padel in the Lowveld region, marked by high-quality matches and increasing participation.
