The Pittsburgh Steelers selected quarterback Drew Allar in the third round of the NFL Draft, potentially blocking the Baltimore Ravens from taking him with the next pick.
The Steelers chose Allar at the 76th overall spot on Tuesday. An anonymous NFL general manager told insider Jason La Canfora that the Ravens had done significant work on top quarterback prospects including Allar, Carson Beck and Taylen Green. The Ravens instead picked wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane at 80th overall after Allar was off the board.
