Svenska Skidförbundet extends deal with Svenska Spel to 2032

Svenska Skidförbundet and Svenska Spel have agreed to extend their partnership through 2032 in what is described as the largest investment ever in Swedish ski and snowboard sports.

The extended agreement runs from July 1 2026 to April 30 2032 and covers all disciplines under the federation including alpine skiing cross-country freeski and snowboard.

Pernilla Bonde Generalsekreterare at Svenska Skidförbundet said the deal strengthens the entire chain from local clubs to national teams and supports meaningful leisure activities across Sweden.

Anna Johnson VD and Koncernchef at Svenska Spel called the commitment the biggest ever in the sport and highlighted the expanded Team Svenska Spel platform that now includes every discipline to develop young athletes toward international success.

The partnership also makes the Svenska Spel Summer Tour permanent starting with SM-veckan and ending at Kopparskidan in Falun to give athletes more competition opportunities year-round.
