Viggo Björck led Swedish performers at the NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, which concluded with the release of final test results. Björck recorded 16 pull-ups, tying for third overall. Malte Gustafsson placed third in the VO2 max test.
Björck stood out with strong results across multiple categories, including anaerobic and aerobic tests as well as bench press. His pull-up total matched the fourth-highest mark in Combine history. Gustafsson achieved a VO2 max value of 61.0, ranking behind only two other prospects in the draft class. Ivar Stenberg, the top-ranked European player, skipped physical testing due to illness but attended interviews with teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs. Other top results came from non-Swedish prospects such as Gavin McKenna, who posted the highest VO2 max score at 65.0, and Ilia Morozov, who ranked in the top ten across six events.
