Judge Marienela Cabrera Mosquera of the Fourth Criminal Circuit Court in Florencia found the doctor guilty of abusive carnal access with a person unable to resist. The 46-year-old victim reported that the attack occurred on November 23, 2020, at the Urocaq clinic. According to the ruling, Rojas Falla inserted his fingers into the patient's vaginal cavity during a follow-up consultation for urinary incontinence and then penetrated her. The judge stated that the doctor turned the office into a scene of sexual victimization. The defense presented witnesses, but security video contradicted their claims about changing protectors on the examination table. The victim directly identified the accused and showed severe psychological damage confirmed by experts. The sentence includes disqualification from public rights for 12 years. The case will be reviewed by the Superior Court of Florencia.
