Warsenal announces new album Endless Beginnings for March release

Canadian thrash metal band Warsenal has revealed details of their upcoming album, Endless Beginnings…, set for release on March 20, 2026, via Massacre Records. The announcement coincides with the debut of their new single, Feeding the Wildfire, featuring an accompanying music video. Guitarist and vocalist Mathieu Rondeau describes the track as a thematic exploration of addiction.

Warsenal, a Canadian speed and thrash metal trio, is gearing up for what they call their most ambitious project yet with the album Endless Beginnings…. Scheduled for March 20, 2026, the record will launch through Massacre Records in formats including a digipak CD and limited-edition vinyl LP. This release builds on the band's signature style of riff-driven intensity, speed, and chaos, while venturing into fresh compositional territories.

The lead single, Feeding the Wildfire, dropped alongside the album news, complete with a high-energy music video available on YouTube. Streams of the track are now accessible online. Mathieu Rondeau, who handles guitar and vocals, shared insights into its meaning: “Feeding the Wildfire is about addiction in all its forms—about how you continue to feed what consumes you, even when you know it’s killing you.” He also connected it to the band's relentless creative energy, adding, “It’s the perfect track to introduce someone to Warsenal, which is why we chose it as the first single.”

Endless Beginnings… unfolds a dystopian narrative centered on an elite group known as the Dawn Mowers, residing in a floating city called the Flying Fortress. This society enforces control over the world below through ministries handling religion, addiction, labor, and false hope, trapping inhabitants in a perpetual cycle of servitude and darkness. The album's diversity shines through its tracks, listed as: Mass Grave Mass, Flying Fortress, Phantom Hope, Feeding the Wildfire, The Numbening, Dawn Mowers, Dusk Dwellers, Onward To Our Death, and Endless Beginnings.

Production involved Rondeau and Ryan Battistuzzi, with mixing and mastering by Olof Wikstrand at Hvergelmer Studios. The cover art comes from Justin Cournoyer of 4CII. Notably, this marks the studio debut of new drummer Zack Osiris, bringing added aggression and precision to the lineup alongside bassist Francis Labine.

The band positions this as a significant evolution, enhancing their storytelling and musical precision.
