Yucatán governor visits 'Pedro Pan' set with Andy García

Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena visited the filming set of the movie 'Pedro Pan' at the Quinta Montes Molina, an emblematic venue on Mérida's Paseo de Montejo. During the meeting, he connected with actor Andy García, who is shooting his scenes in Yucatán, as well as producer Carlos José Álvarez and director Richie Adams.

Accompanied by Tourism Secretary Darío Flota Ocampo, the governor held a detailed discussion on the production's progress and working conditions at Yucatán locations. Díaz Mena voiced his thanks to the production team and, particularly, to Andy García for choosing Yucatán as a filming site for part of the movie. He emphasized the beauty and historical value of Mérida's locations, which actor Andy García also praised for the shoot.
