Sports Interactive has announced a multi-year partnership with FIFA to include official licenses for major competitions in the Football Manager series. The deal brings the FIFA World Cup 2026, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup to Football Manager 26, starting with a revamped international management module next year. This marks the first inclusion of women's soccer in the series and follows the cancellation of Football Manager 25.

The game launches globally on November 4, 2025, following the cancellation of Football Manager 2025.

FIFA has partnered with DAZN to relaunch its FIFA+ streaming service next year as the 'Global Home of Football,' ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The platform will offer free access to live and on-demand content from more than 100 men's and women's national teams and club leagues, along with highlights, behind-the-scenes access, and a multilingual news service. This builds on the success of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and a prior US$1 billion rights deal.
