Merlín Díaz, a 30-year-old hairdresser from Lomas de Zamora, took her life by drinking muriatic acid after losing her savings in a scam by three Romani women. In a letter left to her husband, she said goodbye to her loved ones, asked for forgiveness, and pointed to those responsible.
