Addis Ababa Mayor outlines 90-day plan to address public concerns

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie announced a 90-day plan focused on responding to public questions raised after recent elections.

Mayor Adanech Abiebie stated on her social media page that the city administration had discussed and put into action a 90-day plan for government and party work.

Key tasks include addressing good governance issues, stabilizing living costs, and expanding one-stop center digital services. Additional priorities cover job creation, benefits for women and youth, green legacy development, urban agriculture, development benefits, peace building, strengthening revenue collection, and controlling the trade system.

She noted readiness to complete unfinished projects, including corridor development and riverbank development, within the set time and budget with quality. The new budget year will allow better service to the people and confirm the journey to make Addis Ababa a symbol of prosperity through strong monitoring and support, she said.
