Addis Ababa city administration announced on May 18, 2018 E.C. (2026 G.C.) that it has achieved 96 percent implementation of planned activities in the current budget year following a nine-month performance review.
The review closely monitored activities and identified underperformers for priority action in coming months. Officials will focus on good governance issues, reducing power outages, controlling inflation, and stabilizing markets.
A digital one-stop government service center has launched, with plans to digitize additional services soon. The performance evaluation center aims to complete remaining projects this year swiftly and with quality.
Over the past five years, implementation rates have risen above 90 percent, reaching 96 percent this budget year. Efforts continue to address gaps and ensure the seventh national election remains fair, free, impartial, and credible.
