Colt Gray, the teenager charged in the 2024 Apalachee High School shooting, is scheduled to appear for a plea hearing on July 24. Court documents filed in Barrow County Superior Court show he will enter a non-negotiated plea.
Gray faces 55 counts including malice murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. He had previously pleaded not guilty and remains in custody at a juvenile detention center.
The hearing is set for July 24 in Winder, Georgia. Gray was 14 when the shooting occurred in September 2024, in which two students and two teachers were killed.
His father, Colin Gray, was convicted in March on second-degree murder and related charges. Prosecutors said the father ignored prior violent incidents involving his son and admitted providing the rifle used in the attack.
