Civil Police are investigating the deaths of Ieda Aparecida Simplício, 62, and Fabiana de Fátima Nogueira, 47. Their bodies were found buried in a wooded area in the Samaritá neighborhood of São Vicente on Saturday (18). The couple, who were in a relationship, had disappeared in Praia Grande on the 9th.
The bodies were recognized by relatives after military police responded to a report of a body discovery. Officers from the General Investigations Precinct of Praia Grande and a team from the Fire Department attended the scene.
Forensic and necroscopic examinations were requested. The case was registered as homicide and suspicious death by the Public Security Secretariat.
According to accounts, the women disappeared after meeting a friend and a relative in Praia Grande. Their cars were found abandoned next to the city's Provisional Detention Center two days later.
No one has been arrested so far. Police continue searches to clarify the case and identify those responsible.
