According to a report in the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Deutsche Bahn is parting ways with finance executive Karin Dohm after just three months. The dismissal is to be formalized at a supervisory board meeting in March, though the decision is already final. Dohm, who assumed the role in early December, previously served as CFO at the hardware chain Hornbach.
The SZ report states that Dohm alienated numerous people in her role, including politicians and employee representatives. She reportedly clashed repeatedly with other executives over minor issues. Bahn CEO Evelyn Palla intervened and pulled the plug. Deutsche Bahn declined to comment on the matter when asked.
This move comes amid restructuring at the Bahn, where CEO Palla is overhauling the company. Dohm was part of the executive board that has recently undergone changes.
