Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has disclosed that he recently discovered a lump on one of his testicles, prompting fears of cancer before receiving an all-clear diagnosis.
Johnson shared the experience during a recent interview with Esquire. He explained that he kept the discovery from his wife Lauren initially to avoid causing unnecessary worry.
The former WWE star described the lump as painful and recounted contacting his doctor two days after noticing it. He underwent an examination the following Monday morning and was diagnosed with epididymitis, though cancer could not be ruled out immediately.
Johnson noted that he had to wait for further testing until after completing an all-day promotional event for Jumanji: Open World. He recalled maintaining a public persona throughout the day while uncertain about his health.
Johnson confirmed he is now fine and is also preparing for the release of the live-action Moana film later this year.
