Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will embark on their first UK headline tour in 16 years this summer. The five-date run kicks off in Glasgow on July 2 and concludes in London on July 8, with support from The Meffs. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have not headlined a full string of UK shows since 2010. The band announced five dates for July 2026, starting at Glasgow's O2 Academy on July 2, followed by Manchester Academy on July 4, Leeds O2 Academy on July 5, Wolverhampton's University of Wolverhampton at the Civic Hall on July 7, and London's British Airways ARC on July 8. The Meffs, a political UK punk duo, will provide support throughout the tour. Joan Jett said: “We can’t wait to be back on stage in the UK this summer! I wrote and recorded ‘Bad Reputation’, my first solo LP in London. It’s been too long since we’ve been in the UK and we’re excited to see everyone!” Tickets for all shows become available at 10am on Friday, April 24. Jett has also been confirmed as an opening act for My Chemical Romance at Wembley Stadium on July 10. Recently, she participated in a benefit concert for Los Angeles wildfire victims alongside surviving Nirvana members and joined Billy Idol on his North American tour, appearing on his album ’Dream Into It’.
