Suzi Quatro announces 'Freedom' album and UK tour

Rock icon Suzi Quatro is set to release her 18th studio album, 'Freedom', on March 27, 2026, featuring a collaboration with Alice Cooper. The album precedes a 10-date UK tour in April 2026, where she will perform her classic hits. Produced by her son L.R. Tuckey, the record emphasizes themes of authenticity and self-acceptance.

Suzi Quatro, the Detroit-born rock pioneer, has revealed details of her upcoming album 'Freedom', marking her 18th studio release. Set for launch on March 27, 2026, across various formats, the 13-track project reunites her with producer and co-writer L.R. Tuckey, her son, who also contributes guitar. The album was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Christian Wright.

A highlight is the cover of MC5's punk classic 'Kick Out The Jams', with vocals from fellow Detroit artist Alice Cooper. Quatro describes the album's essence: “It’s all about getting back to who you are, and it applies universally. We all wear masks to get by in this world. For me it’s all about being comfortable in your own skin, having nothing to prove to anyone, and not accepting any BS! This is the journey this album takes you on. Here I am, warts and all. Take it or leave it. Choose yourself…and finally FREEDOM. Which also applies to the world we live in today. A very important word, a very important attitude and very important reality… ‘FREEDOM’!”

Following the release, Quatro embarks on a UK tour starting April 7, 2026, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The itinerary includes stops at Gateshead's The Glasshouse on April 8, Manchester Opera House on April 9, Watford Colosseum on April 11, Oxford New Theatre on April 12, Southend Cliffs Pavilion on April 14, London Palladium on April 15, Bath Forum on April 17, Birmingham Symphony Hall on April 19, and concluding at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on April 20. Audiences can anticipate performances of her hits such as 'Can The Can', '48 Crash', 'If You Can’t Give Me Love', 'Stumblin’ In', 'The Wild One', 'Devil Gate Drive', and 'She’s In Love With You'.

Tickets are available now through Planet Rock Tickets, offering fans a chance to celebrate Quatro's enduring legacy in rock music.
