The event enforced a no-phones policy, was filmed for a Netflix special premiering March 8, and featured tracks from the new record.

The 12-track record, executive produced by Kid Harpoon with contributions from Tyler Johnson, blends dance pop, funk, and post-punk influences. It includes the lead single 'Aperture,' which debuted at the Brit Awards and topped the Billboard Hot 100, and the ballad 'Coming Up Roses,' arranged with orchestral elements by Jules Buckley. Collaborators feature Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell on background vocals, the Smile's Tom Skinner on drums, and the House Gospel Choir. Recorded at Abbey Road, Hansa, and RAK studios, it was mixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent and mastered by Emily Lazar. The album follows Harry's House (2022 Grammy Album of the Year winner), Fine Line (2019), and his 2017 solo debut after One Direction.
That evening, Styles performed a nearly two-hour set at the 23,500-capacity Co-op Live arena near his hometown of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire—his first full concert in nearly three years. Fans received disposable cameras for an immersive, phone-free experience, singing along to new tracks like 'Aperture,' 'Ready, Steady, Go!,' and learning lyrics in real time. He gifted 100 free tickets to his former school, Holmes Chapel Comprehensive; headteacher Nigel Bielby said, 'I am so pleased that Harry has kept a place in his heart for his roots.'
Dressed in yellow trousers, a blue jumper, and a floral shirt, Styles opened with 'Aperture' and played all 12 album tracks, plus hits like 'From the Dining Table,' 'Golden,' 'Watermelon Sugar,' 'As It Was,' closing with 'Sign of the Times' and a 'Aperture' reprise. He addressed the crowd emotionally: 'I've kind of rediscovered what a privilege it is to be in people's lives through music... You've changed my life. Thank you.' He also spoke on community: 'In a world that is so chaotic... be the change in the world.' Attendees raved; Carly, 25, told AFP, 'It was amazing... one of the best experiences of my life.' The concert, titled Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester and produced by Fulwell Entertainment, streams on Netflix from March 8 at 3 p.m. ET. Styles also released a 'American Girls' music video that day and will host/perform on Saturday Night Live March 14.
