Designer Luca Magliano showed his spring 2027 menswear line at the Paris restaurant Maxim’s on June 27. The collection drew inspiration from 1970s family photographs provided by his staff.
Magliano told the audience that the images evoked a sense of elegance and the patina of old memories. He blended this with Y2K elements and a queer perspective marked by irony.
Key pieces included kitschy floral-print knits, a plaid cotton suit jacket with an oversized fit, and collaborations with Diadora and Carrera. Details such as a pale pink polo with a second collar and a suit jacket with chopped sleeves added built-in styling.
The presentation featured oddball models smoking and gossiping at a disheveled dinner table, giving the clothes a lounge-lizard quality balanced by moments of sophistication.
