The 15-year-old Luciana Barrios, missing since Monday in Colonia Caroya, was found on Tuesday in Jesús María.
Córdoba Security Minister Juan Pablo Quinteros confirmed that the minor was found safe and sound. The teenager is at the Jesús María Hospital, where routine checks are being carried out. The Jesús María Investigating Prosecutor's Office, led by prosecutor Guillermo Monti, reported that the disappearance case remains under investigation. The search involved 305 Córdoba Police officers, as well as firefighters and other agencies. The girl's mother stated that “this is the first time something like this has happened”. Family lawyer Luis Gutiérrez noted that the minor “left school and her cell phone turned off”.
