Agostina Vega, 14, disappeared Saturday night in Cordoba after leaving her home. Claudio Gabriel Barrelier, a family acquaintance, remains the sole detainee so far.
The mother of the teenager called for the return of her daughter during a march. “Que me la devuelvan,” she said, adding that she knows the detainee knows who has her.
The lawyer for Claudio Gabriel Barrelier stated that the girl told the suspect she would meet a friend. He added that Barrelier provided the name of that person and had no involvement in the events.
Relatives and neighbors marched to demand Agostina’s appearance. The mother fainted during the rally. A maternal grandfather noted that the teenager left at 22:30, crossed Avenida Alem and took a green taxi toward the Cofico neighborhood.
